Be overweight - every kilo of body fat (especially inflammatory internal organ fat) decreases healthspan & lifespan.
Drink more than 28 alcoholic drinks per week (14 if female) - these number are VERY generous… 1/4 these numbers better!
Sleep less than 6 hours per night - only 2% of people can sleep less than 6 hrs and not have it severely affect their longterm health (especially dementia)
Be alone and not interact with community and people weekly - loneliness is now shown to increase risk of early death equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes per day! Crazy but true!
Eat 2 or more of the following each day a) soft drink or energy drink b) fried food (chips, fish, schnitzel) c) pizza, hot dog, pie d) cakes, pastries, muffins, wheat bread e) vegetable oil (any) f) processed meats - over 60% of the western world’s diet is processed… 94% of western world is metabolically unhealthy… the link is very clear!
Not lift heavy stuff or get your heart rate up ever! Ie exercise … walking is great but not enough (again!)! Want to push back disease? Do strength training & increase cardiovascular fitness! In fact nothing is more potent!
Live in a polluted city or environment (especially if in industrial area or near busy roads) - air pollution is the killer we never consider. Poor air quality decreases life expectancy by 10-15 years!
Get mould, Lyme or metal poisoning and don’t treat it (damp homes, tick bites, amalgam fillings) - when you cant work out why you are ill constantly… consider these 3 silent killers!
Not treat and seek help for severe anxiety, stress and mental health disorders! Your mental & emotional health are critical to a long & happy life. Getting help is not only ok, it is your duty to yourself and your family!
Drink alcohol or have sugar dessert (ice cream) in the hour before bed every night! If you just stop eating or drinking 3 hrs before bed you will improve every single health metric you have… and lose body fat much faster!
Not have meaning and passion in your life … no purpose! Having a reason to live sends chemical & hormonal signals to your body to be strong & reliant! Meaning really does extend life!
